What is included

Every boiler installation, covered.

Combi, system and heat-only

The right boiler for the house rather than the one that happens to be on the van: hot water demand, the number of bathrooms, the gas supply and the existing pipework all get looked at before a size is quoted.

Straight swaps and full upgrades

A like-for-like change on the same wall is a day. Moving a boiler to a different room, converting from a cylinder to a combi or upsizing the gas run takes longer, and you get told which one your job actually is.

System flush and protection

A new boiler goes onto a clean system. That means a flush of the existing pipework, a magnetic filter fitted and inhibitor added, so the new heat exchanger is not ruined by twenty years of sludge.

Controls and smart thermostats

Programmers, wireless room stats, TRVs on the radiators and smart controls if you want them, set up and demonstrated rather than left in a box on the side.

Warranty registered for you

The install is notified and the manufacturer warranty registered in your name on the day, so the paperwork exists when you need to make a claim in year six.

Tidy pipework, cleared away

Pipe runs planned so they are not hanging across a kitchen wall, boxing back where it makes sense, and the old boiler, packaging and rubbish taken away with us.

Questions

Asked and answered.

How long does a new boiler take to fit?

A straight swap on the same wall is normally one day. Moving the boiler, converting from a cylinder to a combi or upgrading the gas supply usually runs to two days. You get told which one your job is when we look at it, not on the morning we turn up.

Do I need a combi or a system boiler?

It depends on hot water more than heating. One bathroom and a normal family, a combi is usually the sensible answer. Two or more bathrooms that get used at the same time, or a house with poor mains pressure, and a system boiler with a cylinder will keep everybody happier. We work it out from the property, not from a price list.

Will you take the old boiler and rubbish away?

Yes. The old boiler, the old controls, the packaging and any pipe offcuts go with us. The only thing left behind is the new install and the paperwork.

Is the new boiler guaranteed?

The manufacturer warranty is registered in your name on the day of the install, and the workmanship is guaranteed as well. Keep the annual service up and the warranty stays intact, which is why the service reminder matters.

Can you install a boiler and sort the electrics at the same time?

Yes, and it saves a second visit. The same team does the electrical work, so a fused spur for the boiler, a new socket in the airing cupboard or a fuse board that is not fit to take the load can all be done on the same job rather than booked in with somebody else.
